Carntyne Transport continues to invest in its fleet with the introduction of its first zero emission fully electric heavy goods vehicle. The vehicle forms part of an internal fleet which operates on a customer premises transporting product throughout the site. Fitted with sophisticated telematics, the team can remotely monitor the performance of the vehicle to ensure carbon efficiency.

Carntyne continues to explore alternatives to conventional fuels; the new electric vehicle supports the Company’s decarbonisation programme and in reaching their ambitious target of Net Zero by 2024.

“The introduction of our first zero emissions vehicle reaffirms our commitment to achieving our net zero target and in delivering long term sustainable solutions for our customers.” David Paterson, Managing Director
