Carntyne Transport is pleased to introduce new tank signage to its fleet, highlighting the “blind spots” on its road tankers.

These new signs are designed to make other drivers and pedestrians aware when they cannot be seen by the vehicle operator whilst passing. The purpose of this is to increase safety on the road and on customer sites, continuing to prevent accidents.

Stuart McCulloch, Carntyne’s Health and Safety Manager says:

“Safety is embedded in the culture here at Carntyne and this new tank signage has come as a very welcome development in ensuring safety first for all.”

Health & Safety has been and continues to be fundamental in the development and management of Carntyne operations. Our message “Driving Towards Safety” recognises and accepts responsibility to provide a safe and healthy working environment for all employees, tenants, contractors and visitors who use its premises in order to prevent injury and ill health, in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and its associated regulations.
