B rakes - First task to be carried out when coupling into a trailer or tanker from the tractor unit.
L egs - wind down the landing legs, carry out a visual check to ensure both landing legs are evenly lowering when you are winding them down.
A ir - & electrics/hydraulics etc. Access the catwalk area and remove and stow the connections securely
C lip - next remove the safety dog clip from the 5th wheel handle
K ingpin - finally, pull the 5th wheel handle to release the kingpin from the 5th wheel.
