Carntyne Transport are a leading Transport, logistics and storage provider mainly focussed on servicing the whisky industry throughout Scotland. Carntyne are looking for an enthusiastic, organised, focussed and flexible administrator to support an existing and established team within our offices. This position will be based near Tullibody in the Alloa area with core hours from Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

· Answering phones and emails

· Dispatching stock from electronic systems and generating associated paperwork

· Updating electronic systems with vehicle movements

· Co-ordinating uplift and return of freight containers

· Co-ordinating a small team of operators to ensure freight containers are turned around in timeous manner

· Working directly with key customer to ensure their requirements are met

· Ordering and receipting workwear for colleagues

Key Skills:

· Computer skills essential (Word & Excel)

· Good communicator

· Ability to work as a team player but equally able to work on own initiative

· Remain in control under pressure situations

· A basic understanding of HMRC preferred

· Experience in logistics computer software programmes

· Quick learner in a fast paced environment
